Remote Breakdown

A. Is the power button.

B. Is the temperature button. When adjusting the temperature hold the button until you reach desired temperature or press quickly repeatedly. Once you let go the unit should beep after two seconds.

C. Adjusts the fan speed. The fan speed should always be left at the max which would be four bars for the remote on the right and six bars on the left remote. This gives the best dispersal of BTU's in your home.

D. Changes the operation mode of your heat pump. The units have five modes Auto, Cooling (AC and dehumidifying), Dry (just dehumidifying), Fan (moves air around), and Heat

E. The set controls adjust the direction of airflow. The button with the up and down arrows adjusts the main louver, which determines the vertical direction (height) of the airflow. In cooling mode, the louver should be set as high as possible so the cool air can naturally fall and circulate throughout the room. In heating mode, angle the louver slightly downward to help push warm air further into the space before it rises. The button with the left and right arrows controls the interior fins, allowing you to direct the airflow horizontally to the left or right

Defrost Mode

If you notice during the winter that your heat pump stops producing heat, the front louver closes, you hear a hissing or whooshing sound, or the green indicator light begins slowly blinking, there’s no need to worry. This is completely normal. Your system has entered defrost mode to remove ice buildup from the outdoor condenser. This process helps the unit maintain peak efficiency and ensures proper operation during cold weather conditions.
